Battlesteads Hotel

A former coaching inn in the village of Wark, on the edge of Kielder Water & Forest Park, with its own Dark Sky observatory.

Its own observatory reflects the area's Dark Sky Park status, and its position in Wark puts it closer to Kielder than the hotels based in Hexham itself, useful for visitors prioritising stargazing or the forest over a town-centre stay.
